PHARMACY

At the Hunger and Health Coalition, our job is to alleviate the arduous choices our clients face in their day-to-day lives. All too often, our clients are faced with the choice between healthy food and life-sustaining medications.

We never want our clients to go without their medication and will stop at nothing to ensure the longevity of our clients' health.

HOW IT WORKS

The Hunger and Health Coalition encourages those who are at or below 200% of the poverty line to take advantage of the pharmacy.  Prescriptions regularly in stock include: antibiotics, medications for blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, and depression, as well as some inhalers and insulins. Please call to check on the availability of specific medications.

We do not carry any controlled substances.

You can drop off your prescriptions to the pharmacy Monday through Friday.

Medications are dispensed five days per week, Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 4:00 pm.

PRESCRIPTION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

At the Hunger and Health Coalition we strive to provide accessibility to life sustaining medications for all of our clients. Because of this, we have implemented our Prescription Assistance Program.

Our Prescription Assistance Coordinator ensures that clients with chronic medical conditions have access to brand-name medication that would otherwise be impossible to acquire due to clients' financial constraints. The Prescription Assistance Coordinator can often order 90 day supplies from specific drug manufacturers.

If you are unable to acquire your medications, please ask for consultation.
