1. HOW DOES THE HUNGER AND HEALTH COALITION WORK?
  • In order to be a client for our food assistance programs, our staff will assist those coming to us with filling out forms. Clients do not need to bring any documents for this process.

  • For the Pharmacy, folks must provide a photo I.D. and provide a proof of income (i.e. W-2, paycheck, etc.).

  • For the Free Clinic, folks must provide a photo I.D. and provide a proof of income.  If you have any type of medical insurance (private, employer, ACA, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.), the Clinic cannot provide any medical or mental health services.

2. WHAT TYPES OF FOOD AND OTHER PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED?

In our food boxes, clients can expect canned goods, pantry items, cereal, pasta, frozen meat, and dairy products. Our Food Recovery Kitchen provides to-go meals prepared from local restaurants. Our Fresh Market also provides our clients with fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and baked goods.

Our Pharmacy provides clients with life-sustaining medications (i.e. inhalers, insulin, COPD medications, Hepatitis C medication, anti-anxiety, anti-depressants, antibiotics, and many more). Our Pharmacy does not carry controlled substances.

The agency provides firewood for heating and cooking.
